Outside, 1.2 acres of grass open onto mountain views. The furnished deck off the living room has the grill for summer evenings, the youngest head for the swing set, and wood waits by the fire pit for a circle of chairs after dinner.

Windham Mountain is about five minutes away for skiing and tubing, and Main Street is close enough for dinner out or a quick grocery run. On a warm afternoon there's golf nearby, or a wedding at Windham Manor, and then the short drive back as the light goes soft over the mountains.
