Salt water glints below the deck as the afternoon sun reaches the pool, and past it seven green acres roll out toward the trees, your dog already a blur across the lawn. Outside Warwick, this house gives you room in every direction.

Inside, three bedrooms and three baths sleep six. The primary suite opens onto a balcony that looks over the whole property, and its bath has a deep tub and a steam shower for the end of a long day. The big kitchen is stocked right down to the spices, with a breakfast nook beside the dining room, and evenings fill up with billiards, darts, board games or a movie on the big screen from the sectional.

The fenced grounds hold an open field, clusters of bushes and a lightly wooded corner, with birds in the yard and deer nearby. After dark, chairs gather around the fire pit for s'mores. In the colder months, the wood-burning fireplaces keep every room warm.

Warwick's main street and the Warwick Valley Winery are ten to fifteen minutes away, as are Greenwood Lake, Wawayanda State Park and the slopes at Mount Peter. Spend an afternoon at Tin Barn Brewery, then drive on to Bellvale Creamery for an ice cream cone at sunset.
