The Mansion

About this property

In Chester, late afternoon light slants across the lawn while the heated saltwater pool glows blue, someone fires up the grill, and the whole crew drifts between loungers and the umbrella-shaded table. Woods at the back of the yard hold the rest of the world at a distance.

Inside, a two-story great room gathers everyone around a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen, with its ten-seat table and six-burner cooktop, handles dinner for a crowd without strain. Seven bedrooms and five baths sleep 16, and the primary suite on the main floor has its own jacuzzi tub.

Downstairs opens into a second kitchen, a long dining table, arcade games, foosball and ping pong, so rainy afternoons turn loud and happy. After dark, the hot tub steams under a sky full of stars. The fire pit crackles until the last s'mores are gone.

Legoland is ten minutes away and the Woodbury outlets fifteen. Hike to Fitzgerald Falls, browse the shops at Sugar Loaf Craft Village, or spend a winter day on the slopes at Mount Peter, fifteen minutes off. Then drive back as the light fades, and you may spot deer at the edge of the trees.
