Hudson Valley Ranch

About this property

Late in the afternoon in Pine Bush, the saltwater pool glows under the trees, music drifts from the outdoor speakers, and deer step out at the edge of the lawn as the light turns gold. The house stands on three private acres at the base of the Shawangunk Mountains. Out here, the quiet is real.

Inside, the kitchen has granite counters, high-end appliances, and an espresso machine for lazy mornings. A long custom table seats the whole crew beside walls of windows, and four bedrooms sleep ten. On rainy days you sink into the den's huge couch, switch on the electric fireplace in the three-season room, or spin the record collection through the Sonos speakers.

Out back, the fenced yard opens onto lawn made for running, with a hot tub for starry nights and a fire pit ready for s'mores. Gas and charcoal grills stand by the outdoor dining area. Between swims, ping pong and foosball keep the kids busy.

In fall you can go pumpkin picking at nearby Kelder's, with hiking trails and farms all around. Bring a pumpkin home to carve at the big table while the windows go dark over the woods.
