Three-Bedroom House with Hot Tub

About this property

First light spills across the Hudson River and through the tall windows of the sunken living room, and you watch the colors shift over the water with coffee in hand. Deer wander the lawn below. The hilltop house in the Balmville hamlet sleeps eight across three bedrooms and three and a half baths.

Under soaring beamed ceilings, a stone wood-burning fireplace warms the parlor, and the primary suite keeps a fire of its own, a private wraparound deck, and a sunlit soaking tub facing the river. The kitchen is stocked down to the spices and a tortilla press. Ping pong, a piano, karaoke, a retro Nintendo, and shelves of board games and puzzles fill any rainy afternoon.

Evenings drift outdoors. Settle into Adirondack chairs around the fire pit on the floating deck, then sink into the hot tub after dark, its lights glowing while the river shines below and stars crowd the sky.

Liberty Street and the Newburgh waterfront are 1.5 miles away for dinner and drinks, and Beacon is 12 minutes off, with Dia Beacon close by and Main Street ready for a slow wander. Pack a picnic for a long, sunny afternoon at Storm King.
