About this property

Late afternoon in Wallkill finds you floating in the big inground pool, the jacuzzi bubbling at its edge and the mountains turning gold past a wide green lawn. The kids refuse to get out. You don't blame them.

Inside, five bedrooms and three full baths sleep fourteen, with a king downstairs and an open kitchen roomy enough to cook a holiday dinner. Upstairs, a second kitchenette and a play area give the younger crowd their own floor, and a billiards table and air hockey are close at hand. After dark, recliners fill the movie theater for a nightcap and a film.

Outdoors, the day drifts from ping pong in the sun to a game on the volleyball court, then on to the gas grill and dinner at the outdoor tables. Later, everyone pulls in around the table with the fire pit at its center for s'mores, and the stars come out clear over the quiet yard.

Next door, an oyster and clam bar serves dinner with live music, and Aubrey's Farmhouse is an easy walk. Watchtower Farms is five minutes off, Angry Orchard and a string of wineries and breweries are close by, and Legoland is half an hour away. In the morning, the trails and falls path of Minewaska State Park are about fifteen minutes down the road.
