About this property

Late afternoon light slants across the salt water pool, the mountains turn blue beyond the treeline, and the only sounds are birdsong, crickets and someone cannonballing off the edge.

The cabin-style house has two stories, two bedrooms and two baths, with a big living room where you can stretch out on the couches, start a movie on the Wii, or read beside the window that looks toward the mountain. The kitchen is stocked for real cooking, and board games wait for a rainy evening.

Outside, two open acres keep you busy from breakfast to dark. The heated water is large and deep, with plenty of deck for lounging, and a full tennis court and half basketball court invite a match before lunch. Younger travelers head for the trampoline and the swings hanging from a huge old tree.

After dinner off the BBQ grill, the hot tub holds its warmth on cool nights, and in autumn the hillsides blaze with color all around you. Later, gather in Adirondack chairs at the fire pit for s'mores under the stars. Minnewaska and the Mohonk Preserve are close for a day of hiking, and the small town of Ellenville is near enough for an easy wander.
